National Digital Transformation Programme Technical Committee Holds Third Periodic Meeting of 2026

The Technical Committee of the National Digital Transformation Programme held its third periodic meeting of 2026, chaired by H.E. Dr. Ali bin Amer Al Shidhani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology for Communications and Information Technology, in the presence of Their Excellencies and members of the Committee
The meeting discussed the latest developments in the implementation of government digital transformation projects and initiatives and reviewed the implementation status of a number of programmes and projects, including a brief on the Supreme Judicial Council’s 2040 Strategic Plan; a summary of the Unified Judicial Platform Project; a brief on the Unified Social Protection and Government Support System Plan; and the implementation status of establishing an entity/activity to enable digital transformation across government institutions.
The meeting also reviewed the implementation status and key achievements of the “Irtiqaa” Programme for empowering national competencies in digital transformation, as well as key achievements and challenges. It also explored ways to enable government institutions to continue achieving digital transformation targets.
The meeting further addressed a number of topics related to the development of the government digital transformation ecosystem and followed up on relevant actions within the Committee’s mandate.
The meeting forms part of the periodic follow-up on government digital transformation projects and initiatives and supports efforts to develop the digital transformation ecosystem and enhance government efficiency.
