The curtain comes down on the activities of the 33rd edition of the COMEX World Technology Exhibition 2024

 

 - Signing of more than 60 agreements worth more than 85 million Omani Riyals

 - The number of visitors to the exhibition exceeded 80,000 visitors.

 

 The activities of the 33rd edition of the COMEX Global Technology Show (COMEX 2024) concluded today, which Organized by Al Dar Al Arabiya Research Company with support from the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology. The exhibition was held at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center over four days, bringing together an elite group of government institutions, technology companies, entrepreneurs, innovators, and those interested in technology from around the world.

 

  The exhibition witnessed a wide attendance from participating entities, as the number of participating government institutions reached 33, and the number of technology companies reached 185, in addition to 133 emerging companies, bringing the total number of participating entities to 350. The exhibition attracted more than 80,000 visitors, reflecting the great interest in the technology and innovation sector.  COMEX 2024 contributed to showcasing the latest electronic services, innovations and digital products provided by government institutions and private companies.

 

 The exhibition provided the opportunity to establish partnerships between various parties and showcase the latest achievements in the ICT  sector, as more than 60 agreements were signed on the sidelines of the exhibition activities with a total value exceeding 85 million Omani riyals (equivalent to more than 220 million US dollars).

The activities accompanying the exhibition included more than 60 workshops, 5 competitions and hackathons, in addition to 25 events for the startup pavilion. The exhibition was also distinguished by the participation of more than 100 speakers from experts and specialists in the field of technology, technology and innovation, which added a rich cognitive and cultural dimension to the events.

 

 

  COMEX 2024 achieved its desired goals as a leading marketing and investment interface, as it contributed to enhancing communication between companies and investors, which strengthens the position of the Sultanate of Oman as a regional center for innovation and technology.

 

  The current edition of the exhibition also witnessed extensive media coverage by more than 30 media outlets, which contributed to conveying a bright picture of the technical and innovative development in the Sultanate of Oman and introducing the various pillars of the exhibition and the accompanying activities.
